Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The gravity of environmental issues indicates that the current model of socio-economic development is not sustainable. Pedagogy recognizes the company as a potential area of training and prosperity for all peoples as long as it is connoted as a community of people and work is worthy, "creative, participatory and supportive". In the field of social pedagogy, the pedagogy of the company can provide a significant contribution to educational research with regard to training processes, acting as a space for reflection on the relationship between education and work, with particular reference to environmental, economic and social sustainability in the professions, in training models, in high education curricula, between social welfare, values, fulfillment of the humanum. The contribution offers an exploratory reading in reference to some emblematic questions of the pedagogy of the company, with regard to social responsibility and human formation.
