Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Communication, desire and imagination are ways in which man acts in social dynamics, manifesting his particular way of being there. What drives him in his actions is not need but desire: this can be an interesting interpretative key to the difference between man and animal. The animal, in fact, acts to reach a need, it is the state of lack that drives it to action. Man also has his needs but does not (or at least should not) be driven by needs or "appetites". The concept of "desire", which we refer to the cupiditas of the Latins, has inherent the search for meaning, love as the lever of all things.
