Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay aims to investigate the role of political parties in the current phase of the Italian institutional system. Their constitutional position is emphasized as vectors of political participation. At the same time the critical elements of the most recent evolutionary phases are analyzed, especially those generated by the problems of compliance with the Constitution of the current electoral law.
