Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay highlights the ambivalence, in the young foreigners between the right to participation that arises, first of all, from the juridical belonging to a national context, and the duty to participate, the result of a voluntary choice to adhere to a national context , of the need to build a good "reputation" from citizens through acts of citizenship. Based on a national research on adolescents and perceptions of legality, the contribution highlights similarities and differences between young Italians and foreigners with respect to knowledge, skills and civic values.
