Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the debates in Milan between the Ambrosian clergy and Patarine reformers, in the second half of the 11th century, the apologetics of the former developed in close adherence to the teaching of Ambrogio and the other Fathers, re-proposing doctrines and criteria of canonicity, in a reciprocal vital interaction between ancient sources and contemporary ecclesial reality.
