Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceeding › Chapter

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter deals with the issue of equal opportunities and the phenomena of gender segregation that characterize the relationship between women and work, analyzing in depth the contrasting actions put in place both in the public sphere and at the level of individual organizations, through the implementation of equality practices and diversity management. In the light of the existing literature, the discussion describes the results of an exploratory content analysis aimed at appreciating the voluntary disclosure of companies regarding practices and actions adopted in order to favor the reduction of the gender gap. The evidence that emerged confirms what was reported by the previous studies, in line with which the absence of suitable data to measure the effectiveness and outcomes of the implemented measures is noted.
