Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The tomato orobanche (Phelipanche ramosa L. Pomel) is constantly increasing in Northern Italy. While in the province of Piacenza the presence is still sporadic, in the Parma area the orobanche is much more widespread, especially in the areas of Collecchio, Corcagnano, Carignano and Vigatto. Probably, this greater incidence is due to the presence of the infesting for a longer time in this territory. In the tests conducted in 2015 in the province of Parma, the effectiveness of different strategies for the control of tomato orobanche (Phelipanche ramosa), a parasitic plant capable of heavily limiting production, was evaluated. The double treatment with sulfonylureas (rimsulfuron, already recorded on tomato, sulfosulfuron and halosulfuron methyl) ensured a containment of the infestation greater than 70% compared to the untreated witness.
