Abstract
It is in the educational value of guidance that pedagogical reflection, iuxta propria principia, must engage rigorously and proactively to promote and support pathways useful for authentic and integral human development, characterized by creativity that is ethically founded. It is important to guide through an integral, continuous and collective approach aimed at the future, for inter- and intra-generational solidarity. In this context, the academic setting, also through project and research activities, is urged to foster the spread of a pedagogical culture of guidance, both through the development of generative practices and devices, and by recognizing the guiding role that belongs to pedagogical professionals across different fields. In this regard, the paper introduces two university research projects of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of transdisciplinary relevance: Science for benefit. Training young generations in scientific thinking for active citizenship and RECOGNISE. Skills builders for the community well-being.
