Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The writings collected organically in this volume are the result of two distinct projects which saw scholars and representatives of the main university institutions of the European Union and the Mediterranean basin engaged in the three-year period 2003/2005 on the topics of the legal status recognized by the various countries to trendy universities, on the educational proposal and on the contribution of these institutions to the diffusion of pluralism, tolerance, culture and peace.
