Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay examines some "books of piety" from the 16th century (the Psalterio Davitico by Lodovico Pittorio, the vulgarization of the fourteenth-century Vita Christi by Ludolfo di Sassonia and the Psalmist according to the Bible), to highlight both the organization of the paratextual elements of these editions , both the guidelines for the correct use of the texts contained in them.
