Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume proposes a journey through themes and problems through Italian preaching and political oratory from the Middle Ages to the present day, considering the speaker and his audience, the tradition of texts, the alternation between Latin, Italian and dialect, the argumentative structures and linguistic and rhetorical phenomena. The profile is accompanied by an anthology of published and unpublished texts.
