Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay publishes 17 unpublished letters sent by Giorgio Caproni to the journalist and poet Enzo Fabiani. The epistles, dating back to a chronological span from 1959 to 1982, mainly deal with topics of a religious nature. The poet from Livorno wrote both to thank the numerous articles that Fabiani was dedicating to him in the columns of the Milanese weekly «Gente», and, above all, to share opinions and opinions on the respective opera productions. In this way, on the one hand, the specific character of Fabiani's writing emerges, a poet almost unknown to date and which is appreciated by Caproni, both as confirmation of the restless and painful search for God that inspires the work of the Leghorn.
