Abstract
In the mid-sixteenth century the catholic priest Natalino Amulio published in Venice two editions of 'Evangelical harmonies'. Apparently the text is very simple, even in its second issue, where an exposition in homiletic style is inserted. To a deeper investigation of the sources, the meaning, the means of implementation, the harmonies reveal to be very complex: overcoming the usual paradigm of censorship, the article shows that Amulio's work opens several questions, currently not solvable.
