Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Today the main challenge for businesses is to continue to create value, value that is not only manifested at an economic or environmental level, but also as benefits found in practices that can make an effective contribution to society and to the businesses themselves. The theme of social sustainability emerges as a possible path and common line, but only if considered as a strategic element that can contribute to society as a whole. The study will analyze the intersection between business success and social sustainability facilitated by new technologies. Research shows that sustainable social commitment requires extremely committed and flexible management, capable of operating in contexts far from the core business and which can be supported by technological innovations. The study highlights the importance of the social dimension for business success and strengthens the understanding of corporate sustainability.
