Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] As part of payment for the master of the ducal chapel Antonio Guinati, the duke Galeazzo Maria Sforza granted the cantor the right to seek and extract minerals from the duchy Alps. Something, probably iron, was found and put into production, but in 1480, with the removal from the power of Bona of Savoy, the German technicians of Guinati and the same maestro di cappella left Lombardy. The extractive and enormous methods concerning the regulation of the production process emerge.
