Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The general objective of the research is to examine, according to a "family" perspective, some aspects of the structure, functioning and relationships within single-parent families with preadolescent and adolescent children, after a separation or divorce. Data from single-parent families made up of foster parents (mothers or fathers) and children aged between 11 and 17 were collected. The results collected from parents and children were compared on two main thematic areas: the functioning of the single-parent core and the relationships of the single-parent nucleus with the extended family and extra-family networks
