Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] From the first years after his transfer to Rome, at the Secretariat of State of the Holy See, the young Mons. Montini was passionately committed to assisting and animating the groups of university students gathered in the Fuci. This interest was maintained and developed also in the following years and decades, with repeated and important interventions in favor of university teaching and the role of academic culture. In this sense, both during the period of the Milanese episcopate, and especially after the rise to the throne of Peter, Paul VI showed particular attention to the Catholic University of Milan.
