Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This contribution summarizes the results of a preliminary collection of landscape, historical and archaeological elements referable to transhumant pastoralism in the plain of Piombino (LI) which constitutes the starting point of a broader study being defined. Some preliminary data are presented relating to the attempt to reconstruct the paths of humans and animals that connected the Emilian Apennines with the Piombino area.
