Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In "Spirit of Utopia" subjectivity is formed in the sphere of the individual who, fragmented and dispersed, relates to the intersubjective "we" and teleologically orientates himself to the "universal Self". This socially increased subjectivity includes an eschatological-physical perspective, ethical-political awareness and the affective order of the heart. The affective life of man does not presuppose any priority of knowing and of rational discursiveness. As "The Principle of Hope" reiterates, it is certainly a sphere of intensity concentrated on itself but which, although imbued with opacity, is expressed in the intentional references to waiting, ferments forward, lays its affections in a time horizon and political.
