Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The suitability to abuse of popular credulity does not arise as much as an intrinsic characteristic to the type of activity of the agent, but rather to the way in which it is exercised. With the imposture the agent must, therefore, try to take advantage of popular credulity, that is to say of the corruption of people to give faith, deriving from lack of culture, from lack of intelligence, from awe or superstitious inclination.
