Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The text addresses the issue of immigrant citizens of European countries in terms of the importance of knowledge of the languages of the host countries. The language phenomenon is identified as a radical place where the recognition of the immigrant citizen as an active part of an exchange with a happy outcome can take place or not. The role of psychoanalysis is valued on the basis of both theoretical and clinical experience of N. Hamad. In this sense, the book in question is a paradigmatic example of how to approach the problem methodologically.
