Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This is the most demanding challenge for those we hurriedly include under the ambiguous definition of "intellectuals": the radical and integral "intus legere, a 'grasp' (legere) what is 'inside' (intus) to the things of the world" (Giovanni Gobber), but without "reading in the service of an ideology [which] means [...] not reading at all" (Harold Bloom, 1930-2019).
