Abstract

The essay is intended to be a reflection on the concepts of respect and equality in traditional societies which envisage a very different world view from the Western one. In fact, among ethnological populations, respect and equality start above all from the awareness of being an integral part of a universe in which everyone plays their part without distinction. And in this very broad context, we reflect on the concept of exchange, a basic element for the life of every human group.
