Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The categories of the aesthetic define the truth, the principle of all beauty, which must be sought with intelligence and heart; it is not something to contemplate, but something to enjoy. Through beauty human intelligence moves towards truth. Through a metaphysical reflection on the beauty present in the mathematical structure of the sensitive cosmos and operating as a clue, Agostino, in harmony with the Platonic tradition, traces a path that leads from sensitive to intelligible reality, from temporal to eternal.
