Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay describes the development lines of the theater experience in prison in Italy, with particular reference to the situation in Lombardy. In light of these historical and methodological premises, he describes and analyzes the active theatrical experience at the prison of Verziano in Brescia, through the reconstruction of some crucial nodes and the recognition of limits and resources of the different periods and applications, up to and including to the last phase with the multi-year social theater project "Ties in open spaces", of which we give an operational description and a first methodological analysis.
