A note on Nicholas Kaldor who was one of the most provocative and original economic thinkers of the present century. He belongs to that remarkable group of Central European intellectuals who emigrated from their countries of origin during the interwar period, for various reasons, and came to enrich and strengthen the intellectual standing of the Anglo-Saxon universities.
