Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Next Generation EU represents an unprecedented tool that the European Union uses in order to contribute to the recovery of the economies of the Member States in the face of the crisis generated, due to the amount of funding provided and the methods of obtaining financial resources. from the coronavirus. The success of this initiative will depend, on the one hand, on the resolution of some issues still open at European level, relating to the completion of the relevant legal framework and the identification of new own resources of the Union; on the other, by the ability of the Member States - and above all of Italy, which is potentially the largest beneficiary of Next Generation EU - to prepare national plans for recovery and resilience consistent with the priorities set at European level and to guarantee a effective implementation of the same.
