Abstract
The growing complexity and dynamism that characterize the environment requires firms to adopt a collaborative approach in order to achieve a competitive advantage. In this context, the relationship becomes a key "asset" to share resources within organizations in order to outline a competitive offering system. Form this perspective, the networking allows firms to operate according to a logic of flexibility, providing innovative responses to the complex needs. The following sections investigate, through case studies, the activity of firms that developed different forms of networking.
