Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The Passenger, published by the Iperborea publishing house starting from June 2018, was born as a book magazine and has a hybrid status: halfway between a series and a magazine, it is not a traditional tourist guide, nor a travel narrative as such, but is suspended among all the textual types that make up each single volume. The vocation for current affairs combined with the interest in the environment, cultural hybridizations and its more pop manifestations make it suitable reading for a heterogeneous audience. The contribution aims to analyze the case of The Passenger in its general lines and then focus on a volume of the series as a significant example of a geographical-territorial narrative designed both to stimulate intellectual curiosity and to guide travel.
