Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay analyzes the apprenticeship of a musician (Biagio Muscogiuri) linked to the tradition of teaching composition according to Francesco Durante. Muscogiuri is the compiler of two complementary manuscripts, one of which is unpublished, written "under Finaroli" at the beginning of the 1880s. The reconstruction of the apprenticeship of the no longer immature and not yet mature Apulian chaplain also offers the right to shed light - through further documents - on other and better known students of the Neapolitan master as well as on the network, the practices and the interests of the nineteenth-century collectors involved ( Abramo Basevi and Masseangelo Masseangeli).
