Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper analyzes the recent jurisprudence on the subject of diseases related to occupational exposure to asbestos, finding a significant diversity in the method concretely followed for ascertaining causality. Faced with continuing scientific uncertainties regarding the etiopathogenesis of pleural mesothelioma, some sentences have in fact elsuo the issue, relying on weak findings, based on scientific laws derived from previous jurisprudentials. On the other hand, significant jurisprudence, even of merit, demonstrates that it has taken cognizance of the probative difficulties and truly respects the principle of beyond reasonable doubt.
