[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper highlights the critical issues found in the overcoming - through the admission of hypotheses of aid to suicide and the proposal for an abrogative referendum concerning the prohibition of euthanasia - of the discipline referred to in law no. 219/2017, on the subject of consent to the activation and continuation of health treatments. The ambivalences of the so-called right to die, which easily constitutes an implicit solicitation for its exercise, also in relation to the economic implications of the whole problem. The relationships between sentence no. 242/2019 of the Constitutional Court and the draft of a text of law consequent to the same, which is under discussion at the Chamber of Deputies.
