Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper examines the Lucretian paraphrase that Molière proposes to vv. 711-730 of the "Misanthrope": from the comparison with the conclusion of the fourth book of the "De rerum natura", from the comparison, emerges the propensity of the French writer to attenuate the Lucretian vehemence by identifying the female typologies proposed as carriers of defects more behavioral than physical .
Translated title of the contribution | [Autom. eng. transl.] Molière, Lucrezio and the catalog of women. (Some remarks on a Lucretian paraphrase in Molière, "Le Misanthrope," vv. 711-730). |
