Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Latin American literary modernism broadly shows interest in translation, which is configured as one of the main sources of assimilation and appropriation of European models. The purpose of this work is to emphasize the contribution to the current translation of the Latin American modernist aesthetic-cultural project through the cannibalistic theory of translation, developed by Haroldo de Campos from the Oswald de Andrade Anthropophagous Manifesto.
