Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution explores the relationship between written text, subdivision of the minimum units of meaning and formation of words in the Chinese language. Furthermore, a hypothesis is formulated on the possible way of learning words in Chinese starting from the memorization of characters.
