Abstract
The considerations reported in this publication are the result of qualitative research on specific locations in Milan that have given voice and visibility to women's protagonism. The present volume aims to explore the notion of a female perspective on urban life, and the ways in which this perspective has been impacted by the global pandemic. The female presence in Milan has distinctive traits of listening, respect, care, hospitality, and helpfulness. These aspects are characterised by reflection and critical re-elaboration: all the interviewees, in fact, feeling personally involved in the events, have constantly acted by putting into practice the circularity between thought and action. The volume is structured in four chapters, with the survey focusing on two specific areas: secular feminist practices and experiences of faith.
