Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The excavation and research activity of the Milanese universities in Populonia is part of a new and intense phase of research on the territory. Populonia represents a place of excellence not only for the potential offered by the archaeological deposit, but also for the role it played during the first millennium BC in the complex Mediterranean chessboard of that period.
