Migrazioni, relazioni sociali e capitale sociale: spunti per una narrazione socio-culturale

Translated title of the contribution: [Autom. eng. transl.] Migration, social relations and social capital: ideas for a socio-cultural narrative

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution addresses the issue of migration through the examination of some key concepts typical of the sociology of culture, such as relations and social capital, civil culture and interculturality. In order to read the cultural paths of migration within a welcoming perspective, reference to culture as a specific element in social relations is necessary. For these reasons, the article focuses in particular on the role of solidarity and prosocial associations seen as new ways of sharing that revive community ties. Only a political-institutional culture capable of tracing the richness of the generative capacity of relationships can allow us to find in social bonds what qualitatively enhances the differences.
