Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the contribution some fundamental questions of the methodology of educational research are the object of scientific-critical reflection, with particular reference to the space of investigation represented by the family, considered in its systemic relationship with society, according to the converging perspectives of family pedagogy and pedagogy social. The following analysis starts from the datum, worthy of critical consideration, of the evolution of positions and reflections regarding the possibility of combining the pedagogical study of the family by virtue of the integration of differentiated methodological guidelines.
