Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Silvana Sciarra's book gives the reader a cross-section of the thought of Gino Giugni (1927-2009), for everyone, and also in this short review, the Maestro. It does so through the selection of some passages taken from nine contributions, originally published between 1956 and 1991, mainly in the seventies, thematically organized, in order to immediately transmit their usability in the "contemporary debate" (p. IX), in five chapters with truly suggestive titles: The birth of labor law; The protection of professionalism; The trade union organization is free; The discovery of corporate bargaining; Trade union ideologies. These are the Ideas for work that Gino Giugni, through Silvana Sciarra, a profound connoisseur of every nuance of his intellectual and professional path, as evidenced by His Chronology of a reforming thought (p. IX-LI) which introduces the collection of essays, proposes today to the attention of the general public and, as far as is more specifically concerned here, of our scientific community.
