Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] While Italian growth continues to be held back by the structural weakness of domestic demand, Italian exports in the second quarter of 2011 beat everyone by growth rates. According to data from the World Trade Organization: in fact, compared to the second quarter of 2010, Italian exports increased the most (+ 29% with data expressed in dollars) not only in the G7 (with Germany second at + 26% and Japan last at + 4%) but also compared to the other two major world exporters (with China at + 22% and South Korea at + 19%). While our export therefore re-emerges with stubborn will from the harsh crisis of 2008-2009, our policy instead sinks ever more into chaos and inaction.
