Pedagogy, intrinsically involved into temporality, is called upon to deal with the theme of memory, to tackle the aporias and instances of sense of the human being, in order to promote his integral formation. Cultivate the memory for believing in the future, discover the sense of time, knowing how to look to the future through the lens of the past and present, are prerequisites of an identity capable of building itself in continuity and novelty. The search presented in this book is focused on peculiar questions, such as: the fragmentation of experience and the changes caused by technological processes; forgetfulness; existential project; the ethics of responsibility. By following a metacognitive process, these issues are also taken as incentives in order to interrogate the temporal image of pedagogy and how it is transmitted, with the aim to rethink the meaning of education.
