Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution aims to assess the effects and effectiveness of family mediation and technical consultancy interventions in promoting and supporting a shared exercise of parenting. This is a clinical-qualitative survey conducted through the meeting and involvement of 30 parents (15 mothers and 15 fathers), separated by at least 6 months and with at least one jointly assigned minor child, divided into two subsamples: 15 parents who have benefited from a family mediation intervention and 15 parents who have benefited from a technical consultancy office. The objective of this study is to evaluate comparatively not only the different suitability and effectiveness of the two types of intervention, but also to identify the specific contextual and process variables that, from the point of view of the users, constitute a facilitating factor or obstacle in achieving shared parenting. The survey was conducted through a multi-method clinical interview that includes a sequence of narrative stimuli (7 open questions that guide and accompany the reconstruction of the mediation process or consultancy and the comparison between the personal and family situation at the beginning and at conclusion of the same path), a sequence of imaginative stimuli (a set of images through which to describe and explore the relationship between the subject and the mediator or consultant and its evolution during the work), a short self-report tool and a checklist aimed at describing the socio-structural conditions of the subject and the family and the systematic evaluation of the factors of effectiveness of the intervention. The analysis of the information thus produced will be carried out starting from the textual transcription of the interviews using textual analysis models elaborated with the support of specific software. This in order to verify the existence of homogeneity and heterogeneity of contextual and dynamic-procedural order on the basis of which to identify the specific potentialities and criticalities of the two aid practices considered.
