Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The book consists of the examination of contracts stipulated for the creation of sculptural and pictorial works, born in Renaissance Florence, and of documents relating to the quarrels that sometimes arose between artists and patrons. In addition to illuminating the background of famous masterpieces, they provide relevant elements for those who investigate the procedural law of those times.
