Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay first investigates the literary reflection of Silvio Pellico in the Milanese years of the Conciliator which is of considerable importance for the maturation of Manzoni's ideas on theater. Secondly, the essay shows Pellico's progressive approach to Manzoni's works visible both in My Prisons and in Pellico's latest production.
