Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The manual, presented in a new updated edition, provides a clear and comprehensive picture of the history of ancient Greece, from its origins to the Roman conquest. The text favors the reconstruction of events (a necessary precondition for understanding economic, social and cultural aspects) with particular attention to the history of international relations and the difficult search for a Panhellenic balance. This is a choice that finds justification in the interest reserved for these events by ancient sources, whose voice we have tried to leave a convenient space in the exhibition.
