Translated title of the contribution: [Autom. eng. transl.] Greek history manual

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The manual intends to present itself first and foremost as a teaching tool and aims to provide a clear and exhaustive picture of the history of ancient Greece, from its origins to the Roman conquest. The text favors the reconstruction of events (a necessary precondition for understanding economic, social and cultural aspects) and adopts a set cut on the history of international relations and on the difficult search for a Panhellenic balance. The choice that finds justification in the interest reserved for these events by ancient sources, whose voice we have tried to leave a convenient space in the exhibition.
