Abstract
The advancements in information-,
communication- and computer
technology have greatly affected
second language instruction, notably in
higher education.
This article discusses some new trends
in ELT methods and methodology, with
an eye to a few applied issues in EFL
vocabulary instruction in secondary
education. An “idea corner” is presented,
where some multimedia tools for
teaching vocabulary in the EFL
classroom are described.
