Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This is a review concerning the fundamental work of Madame de Duras, an important document of the thought of the Restoration. A reading is proposed that allows us to appreciate both the acute representation of philosophically decisive themes - such as the contrast between nature and culture, social exclusion, the centrality of the theme of corporeity, the affirmation of the dignity of opinion - be it his nature of "crossroads" between the instances of the seventeenth-century philosophy, such as the moralistic reflection of La Rochefoucauld, and the existentialist results of the twentieth century, exemplified here by the thought of Camus.
