Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In recent years, with the advancement of specialisms and professionalisms, we have witnessed the distortion of the care relationship, which has ceased to be a 'relationship with two' due to the interference of a medium: the machine. At the same time there has also been an erosion of the moral semantics of the term 'person': originally a strong conceptualization, inherited in its most pregnant contents by Christian culture. Hence an existential emergency, even before a political one. The body has become permeable to information flows, so that there has been a depletion of care and the reduction of the existential spaces and political citizenship of the vulnerable person, as marked by the vulnus of the disease and unable to have "self-care". Furthermore, the advanced technologization and the processes of hyper-medicalization have, at the same time, generated a pedagogical problem, because the cultural-artistic models proper to the Hippocratic-Galenic medical-philosophical tradition that were found in the person and in its beneficial protection were lost ethical framework, as well as a practical justification for caring for the other, in terms of justice, how to act good.
